Welcome!

Talk4Meaning is the free-to-download space created for you, by me, Michael Jones.

All of the information on this site comes from my experience working with children and from the work of colleagues and organisations that I admire. I worked for over 30 years as a speech and language therapist, teacher, advisory teacher, and trainer. I taught in nursery, primary, middle and special schools, and headed the Traveller Education Support Service in Luton. For three years I led the Every Child a Talker (ECaT) projects in Luton, Bedford and Thurrock.

Until recently, I provided practical training across the UK and abroad and now concentrate mainly on writing about young children’s language and learning. However, if you are looking for practical training on early language development and learning, I highly recommend you contact Bhavna Acharya and Debbie Brace and Katja O’Neill and Sue Thomas.

So take a look inside and let me know what you think!
